PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arrested Saeed Zada, a former manager of the Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Bank Road Mardan branch, for his alleged involvement in corruption and acquisition of land in Mardan district for Worker Welfare Board.
It has been surfaced during the course of investigation that Rs 125 million out of Rs 250 million has been embezzled by Tariq Awan and others in active connivance with Saeed Zada.
The accused Saeed Zada had acted as abettor / facilitator in embezzlement of government funds and thereby caused a huge financial loss to the national exchequer. The accused person will be produced before the Accountability Court for obtaining his physical remand.
