Sources informed Customs Today that the long-standing issue regarding non-operational of five NBP branches authorised for collection of customs duty and taxes through WeBOC would be redressed through the training session.

They also said that the taxpayers were facing difficulties in depositing duty/taxes through WeBOC (automated system) on the authorised branches due to non-availability of user ID, password and proper training of NBP officials.

The customs high-ups have decided to start the training session for the NBP officials. The sources said that Chief Collector-South Nasir Masroor Ahmed has already issued directives to start the training session.
