ISLAMABAD: Irshad Hussain, a BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently posted as Additional Commissioner-IR, Regional Tax Office-II, Lahore, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Project Director (Iris) in addition to his own duties, with immediate effect.
As Project Director (Iris), he will coordinate all activities related to smooth functioning of Iris including resolution of operational issues of field formations and taxpayers, training of officers and staff and correction of jurisdiction. In addition to these duties, he will also coordinate with CEO, PRAL on behalf of business domain, said a notification issued by Federal Board of Revenue, adding that the officer will have to report to Member (IR-Operations) FBR, Islamabad.
Meanwhile, Shaheed Mehboob, a BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service, relinquished the charge of the post of Secretary (IR-Policy), FBR (HQ), Islamabad, with effect from January 11.
