It was also decidedly ahead of the meagre 230 new homes sold in December 2014.

This takes the full-year tally to 7,529, 2.9 per cent up on 2014’s figures.

December’s new homes sales figure was split among 18 sales in the core central region, 153 in the rest of central region, and 213 in the outside central region.

The top seller in the month was The Poiz Residences in Potong Pasir, where 64 units changed hands at a median price of $1,430 per sq ft. The project was launched in November.
