KARACHI: Customs Gwadar authorizes seized huge quantity of smuggled laptops and computer accessories during a crackdown.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs authorities received secret information regarding some smuggling attempts. Customs authorities constituted special teams to enhance checking in the area. The customs team intercepted a vehicle and recovered five laptops, 20 hardware disks, six LEDs. The customs team asked the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Meer Zaman Khan to produce any documents regarding possession of these items but he failed to produce any relevant documents.
Gawdar Customs authorities seized the computer accessories and registered a case of smuggling against accused person.
