OGRA slashes LPG price by Rs5, domestic cylinder reduces to Rs60/kg, commercial to Rs120/kg

ISLAMABAD: OGRA cut LPG price by Rs 5 for 2nd time and crackdown on blackmarketers is in full swing.

According to the details, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) was cut by Rs 5/kg by various marketing companies country-wide here the other day on OGRA recommendation.  An operation by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) against LPG marketing companies was underway due to which the price cut has been observed second time in a week. The price of domestic cylinder has reduced to Rs 60/kg and commercial cylinder to Rs 120/kg. However, the price of LPG in Karachi is Rs 110/kg and Rs 140/kg in Rawalpindi/Islamabad whereas in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sukkur it has decreased to Rs 120/kg. Moreover, Rs 125/kg has been fixed in Mirpur, Multan, Bhawalpur, Peshawar and Kohat. Murree, Muzaffarabad, Bagh and FATA will sell LGP at Rs 150/kg.
