SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has handed over 7,000 locks to the 70 special recovery teams of the department to seal the commercial and residential properties of the defaulters.
According to the Director Excise and Taxation Gujranwala Division Rao Shakeelur Rehman, properties of tax defaulters will be sealed in Gujranwala Division.
He said that 70 special recovery teams of Excise and Taxation have started a vigorous crackdown against the tax defaulters in Gujranwala Division to recover the outstanding arrears from the big and chronic defaulters, who were reluctant to pay their taxes despite the repeated issuance of the recovery notices to them.
