Subsequently, FBR extended time for filing such returns/statements till 21-January, 2015.

President KTBA further said that it is an admitted fact that majority of corporate taxpayers have filed their returns. However, there is a resonable segment of the corporate taxpayers, who owing to various reasons, are still enable to e-file their returns.

“The IRIS does not accept such applaictions for extension of filing of returns as the window for this purpose is not operative”, he added.

Therefore, the President KTBA Muhammad Zubair lamented the FRB authority concerned to open the window in IRIS for filing extension application.-
