KARACHI: Customs Preventive authorities have recovered 105 mobile phones from a passenger at Karachi airport. The market value of the smuggled mobile phones is Rs 1.5 million.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Preventive authorities have intercepted a passenger who was coming from Dubai at Jinnah International Airport Karachi and seized 105 mobile phones which was hidden in his body and he was illegally trying to smuggle them into the country from Dubai.
Customs authorities arrested the accused passenger and further investigation is underway in this regard.
