FBR prepares draft of summary for fixed allowance

MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has prepared summary of draft of fixed allowance for the officials and employees and it will soon be presented to the Finance Minister for final approval.

Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue Employees Action Committee (FBREAC) Tahir Khan Khakwani told Customs Today that some amendments had been made in the previous draft  and the modified version is ready and will present it to the Federal Minister Ishaq Dar for final ratification very soon.

He says in this new draft the proposed monthly fixed allowance is  Rs 1500 for the employees of basic pay scale (BPS) 1, Rs 1800 for BPS-2, Rs 2100 for BPS-3, Rs 2400 for BPS-4, Rs 2700 for BPS-5, Rs 3000 for BPS-6, Rs 3300 for BPS-7, Rs 3600 for BPS-8, Rs 3900 for BPS-9, Rs 4200 for BPS-10, Rs 4500 for BPS-11, Rs 4800 for BPS-12, Rs 5100 for BPS-113, Rs 5400 for BPS-14 , Rs 5700 for BPS-15 and Rs 6000 for BPS-16.

Whereas, the officers of grade 17,18,19 and 20 will receive  Rs 6500, Rs 7000, Rs 7500 and Rs 8000 fixed allowance per month respectively.

But, for the officers of grade 21 and 22 the fixed allowance is Rs 10000 and Rs 12000 respectively  as proposed in the final draft.
