LAHORE: All Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Association Chairman Waheed Ahmed has said that Pakistan can export fruit and vegetables to Iran and earn reasonable foreign exchange.
Talking to Customs Today, he said that the government should take some positive measures in this regard. He said that Pakistan needs to make banking system operational with Iran to facilitate traders.
He said Pakistan can export 80,000 tons of kinnu, 15,000 tons of mangoes and 1,500 tons other fruit to Iran annually.
The chairman urged the government to take every step to facilitate traders community of both friendly countries.
