LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has forwarded a summary to the Punjab chief minister, seeking approval for the appointment of legal officers.
Source told Customs Today that due to shortage of legal officers in Excise and Taxation Department, most of the old cases were delayed. After the approval, Excise and Taxation Department will be able to appoint three new legal officers.
