LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has extended the judicial remand of Humayon Khan for another 14 days. The suspect is a resident of Peshawar and was arrested in mobiles smuggling case.
Sources told Customs Today that the accused was already on a judicial remand for 14 days which has further been extended for another 14 days. The accused was presented before Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan at the Customs Court, who approved his judicial remand for 14 days.
As per detail, the Customs Intelligence had recovered 330 expensive mobile phones from the suspect who was trying to smuggle them from Lahore to Afghanistan via Peshawar.
