Summary regarding upgradation of DCA post to DPA sent to FBR, Ministry of Finance

KARACHI: The summary regarding the upgradation of the post of Data Controlling Assistants (DCAs) to the Data Processing Assistants (DPAs) has been prepared by the Establishment Division, it is learnt here.

The DCAs, who are currently working in grade-10 are informed Customs Today that the Establishment Division has forwarded the recommendation of upgradation of DCA post into DPA to the Federal Board of Revenue and Ministry of Finance for final approval in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention here that around 31 DCA officials are awaiting for upgradation of their posts into DPA, which is the post of Grade-16, adding that the post of DCA is fall in Grade-10.

It may be mentioned here that the pay-scale, perks and previliges and other allowances of DCAs after upgradation of their post into DPAs would also be increased accordingly.

The DCA are contesting their case for last two years and striving hard for the cause of upgradation of their posts.

They also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Customs Today for raising their voice for their legal rights and said that the publication is contineously raising their voice with full force.
