Customs Appellate Tribunal postpones hearing of different cases

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad Bench-I on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of several cases to different dates of February.

A division bench of the tribunal comprising of Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti and Member Technical, Muhammad Nasir Khan heard the cases and adjourned five cases until February 3 (today) and seven cases till February 15.

The cases which were adjourned to be heard on Wednesday included the appeals filed by M/s Saleem Silk against Director General Customs Intelligence Islamabad, Siraj ul Mulk and Fahad Industries against Customs Collector, Islamabad,

National Institute of Health of Islamabad and Expanded Programme on Immunization against Director General Customs Intelligence, Islamabad

And the cases adjourned for February 15 included petitions filed by M/s Najmuddin and M/s Amanullah, SanaUllah, Muhammad Manzur, Abid Butt, M/s Iqbal and Co and M/s Laguardia Logistics Private Limited. All of these cases were filed against against Customs Collector, Islamabad.

Meanwhile, a case filed by M/s Euro Duty Free Shop Limited was withdrawn by the appellant which was field against collector customs, Islamabad.
