Russia’s oil export falls 0.7% to 20.7 mln tonnes in Jan

MOSCOW: Russia’s crude oil export equaled 20.71 mln tonnes in January 2015, a 0.7% or 903,400 tonnes decrease year-on-year, according to the documents published by the Central Dispatching Department of Fuel Energy Complex. Particularly, exports to CIS countries rose by 0.8% to 1.982 mln tonnes while supplies to non-CIS countries dropped by 0.9% to 18.728 mln tonnes. Local crude oil refining totaled 23.515 mln tonnes in January, a 3.7% decrease year-on-year. Russia’s oil production up 1.5% in Jan to 46 mln tonnes Russia’s crude oil production rose by 1.5%, or 693,300 tonnes in January 2016 to 46 mln tonnes.

Bashneft kept its leading position among Russian oil majors in terms of crude output (10.2% increase year-on-year to 1.753 mln tonnes), followed by Gazprom Neft (4.9% increase to 4.714 mln tonnes) and Tatneft (4.4% increase to 2.357 mln tonnes). Rosneft and Lukoil cut production by 0.9% and 2.9% – to 16.912 mln tonnes and 7.173 mln tonnes, respectively.
