Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs 3619.74m until January 2016

FAISALABAD: The Customs Appraisement has collected Rs 3619.74 million in first seven months of the current fiscal year against the assigned target of Rs 4341.94 million.

Sources told Customs Today that the customs appraisement collected a revenue of Rs 739.78 million under the head of customs duty till the month of January against the set target of Rs 1511.36 million.

Furthermore, the customs appraisement collected Rs 2701.30 million under the head of sales tax against the target of Rs 2582.95 up to January 2016.

Moreover, Rs 150.80 million were collected against the target of Rs 238.30 million under the head of income tax. Customs appraisement collected Rs 27.86 million as federal excise duty against set target Rs 9.33 million.
