LAHORE: Customs and Taxation Court judge Ch Ameer Muhammad Khan has sent an alleged gold smuggler namely Muhammad Rizwan to jail on extended judicial remand for 14 days.
According to details, Customs Preventive seized seven kilogram of gold from his possession at Lahore airport in November 2015, when he was coming from Dubai by Emirates flight EK-622. The accused is a resident of Kot Khawaja Saeed area in Lahore.
The accused was in custody of Customs Investigation team, after initial investigation he was sent to jail.
