On the other hand, Markazi Anjuman-i-Tajiran Sialkot President Haji Ghulam Mujtaba Mehar has expressed complete satisfaction on the scheme. He also urged the FBR to make a single digit tax system that will attract the non-payers, besides simplifying the tax procedures. Mehar further asked the government to settle the issue of double taxation, adding that this issue could be resolved by brining harmony between the federal and provincial tax institutions.

He said that traders were paying almost ten different kinds of indirect taxes along with direct taxes, which are increasing the cost of doing business in the country. The increasing cost ultimately put burden on the users.

SCCI Vice President Syed Ehtisham Mazhar, Tax Lawyer Aftab Nagra, office bearers of Markazi Anjuman-i-Tajiran Sialkot Malik Sabir, Jehangir Butt, Sheikh Muhammad Saeed, Mehar Ashiq Hussain, Mirza Imtiaz Ahmed, Javed Saleem Dar, Ifran Latif Mir and others participated in the seminar.
