Punjab Excise launches drive against unregistered property dealers

SIALKOT: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has launched a crackdown against unregistered cable operators and property dealers on the special direction of the Director General Akram Ashraf Gondal.

In order to achieve the target set for the third quarter of the current financial year, more than 14,000 properties have been sealed and more than 9,000 vehicles impounded. The properties sealed include plazas, auto workshops, property dealers and cable operators whereas the vehicle impounded include trucks, trailers, vans and buses.
