Faisalabad Adjudication recovers Rs 36.5m in January

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication has recovered Rs 36.500 million during January 2016.

Sources informed Customs Today that the customs adjudication also issued Order-in-Original (OnOs) in favour of Anti-Smuggling Organization and Customs Intelligence and Investigations. The cases which were heared during January include seizure of foreign origin cloth, Indian origin tea, Iranian diesel, auto parts, Toyota Corolla and other items.

The department heared cases of smuggled oil Cloth F/O indian Brand Tea, iranian diesel,  auto parts, Toyota Corrola and other item during the saide period.

It is pertinent to mention here tha Additional Collector Saima Aftab settled 12 cases involving Rs 19.200 million. While Deputy Collector Asma Hameed decided 38 cases involving Rs 17.300 million and announced decision in favour of Customs Intelligence and Investigation and ASO Faisalabad in January.
