KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) has recovered Rs 18,156 million under the head of different taxes during the first 10 days of February of the current fiscal year.
Sources told Customs Today that the RTO-I has collected Rs 1,7310 million as income tax, Rs 832 million sales tax and Rs 14 million as the federal excise duty.
It is pertinent to mention here that the RTO-I has collected Rs 90,203 million tax in January, out of which Rs 88,302 million was recovered as income tax, Rs 1,863 million as sales tax and Rs 38 million as federal excise duty.
