KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate, Gwadar, has foiled a bid to smuggle foreign origin liquor near Pasni, Gwadar Balochistan. The market value of the liquor is Rs 3.26 million.
Sources told Customs Today that Collector Customs Gwadar Saeed Akram received information that a huge quantity of foreign liquor was being transported that resulted in strict checking by the customs staff. The authorities intercepted a truck containing some 800 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs 3.26 million near Pasni.
The Customs authorities seized the liquor bottles and registered a case against the accused. Further investigations are underway.
