DHA Rs16b scam: NAB gets seven days remand of Khalid Nazeer Butt

LAHORE: The Accountability Court has granted seven days physical remand of the accused Brigadier Khalid Nazir Butt who was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau in connection with Defense Housing Authority mega scam.

According to details, Brigadier Khalid Nazeer Butt is  a former director of DHA City project and he was allegedly involved in corruption of Rs 16 billion in which Hammad Arshad is also in NAB custody on physical remand.

According to details, Khalid Nazir was presented before Accountability Court. He is a suspect in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) fraud case. On Friday, NAB had arrested DHA Lahore ex-project director Brigadier (retd) Khalid Nazir Butt in connection with Rs. 16 billion scam case.
