PRA collects Rs 30.9b in first seven months of FY 2015-16

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority has collected Rs 30.9 billion during the first seven months of the Fiscal Year of 2015-16.

According to sources of Customs Today PRA even after facing many problems has collected a huge amount of taxes that reached to the mark of new history. PRA has recovered this revenue from July 2015 to 31 January 2016 period.

Punjab Revenue Authority Chairman Raheal Ahmed Siddiqui directed all staff and officuaks to use all available resources in collection of dues from defaulters. He further directed to achieve revenue target well before time.

He also said that now after approval of PRA Ordinance 2015 there is no issue in PRA’s working and its legality.

Earlier Punjab Assembly has passed the Punjab Revenue Authority  (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (Bill No 51 of 2015).
