Pakistan Customs holds 2 auctions of different items on Oct 23, 25

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs is going to hold two auctions of different items on Oct, 23 and Oct 25 (Friday) at East Wharf and Pak Shaheen respectively.

The first auction at East Wharf contains different commodities including vehicles, chemicals, tyres, melting machines/compounds, brakes, scrape and other items. The bidders are requested to deposit 25 per cent of the total auction bid amount in advance.

Similarly, another auction of the containers of shedder lights, carpets, decoration pieces, packing materials, SH clothing and other commodities is scheduled to be held at Pak Shaheen on Oct, 25. The bidders are also requested to deposit 25 per cent advance of the total amount before the auction.

Customs auctioneer Moinuddin Chishti will supervise both of the auctions in the presence of Customs officials.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC)-West Muhammad Saleem has already said that the Pakistan Customs in order to enhance its revenue recovery and getting annual target will hold auctions of the different items twice in a month.
