Askari Bank’s profits up by 46% to Rs8.43b in 2015

LAHORE: Askari Bank has posted positive annual financial results for the year ended December 31, 2015.

According to the official statement, profit before tax at Rs8.43 billion is showing an impressive growth of 46 per cent and profit after tax of Rs5.04 billion is reflecting a growth of 26 per cent, resulting in earning per share (EPS) of Rs4.0 against Rs3.19 for the last year. The Bank’s total asset base reached Rs536 billion, registering a growth of 20 per cent during the year.
