FBR holds sessions to create awareness about tax amnesty scheme in selected cities

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and traders, in collaboration with Anjuman-e-Tarjaran Ittehad, have arranged an awareness program in order to make Voluntary Tax Payment Scheme a success.

According to detail, the board will hold awareness programs in selected cities of the country .

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Revenues Haroon Akhtar will impart the withholding agents about the voluntary scheme.

According to the program, Ishaq Dar and Haroon Akhatar have addressed traders of three cities including Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Multan on February 13, 15 and 16.

Haroon Akhtar will impart and address the business community of the cities Karachi on February 17, Lahore and Gujranwala on February 18, Faisalabad February 20, Bahawalpur February 22, Sukkhar February 23, Hyderabad 24 February and Karachi February 25.
