LHC disposes of bail plea of alleged heroin smuggler

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has disposed of the bail plea filed by a suspect involved in 32 kilograms of heroin smuggling case whereas the accused escaped from the court.

According to the details, a two-member bench of LHC headed by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the case where the counsel for the appellant argued that the case of drug smuggling against his client Muhammad Irfan has been made on political pressure. The counsel further pleaded the court to accept the bail plea of his client.

After hearing the argument from the both side, the court disposed of the bail application.
