LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) directed Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) not to collect sales tax from two companies. The court also seek reply from Punjab government and PRA in two weeks.
Sources told Customs Today that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah of Lahore High Court heard the pleas of two companies M/s. Telenor Pakistan Limited and Flying Cement Company. The counsels of both companies submitted that PRA started to send old notices to their clients which is totally illegal.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah after hearing the arguments of both sides seek reply from government of Punjab and PRA in two weeks.
