Pakistan Post issues commemorative postage stamp

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post issued a commemorative postage stamp of Rs 50 on completion of 50 years of safe operation of 1st nuclear research reactor in Pakistan.

The salient features and description of the stamp included a size of 30.5*40.5 mm with the print size of 28.5*38.5 mm having 7*4 stamps in a sheet.

The commemorative Postage stamp is available for sale at all important Post offices in Pakistan, an official of Pak post told APP. The first day of issue covers and leaflets at the rate of Rs. 10/- and Rs. 15/- respectively are also being bought out.

A special postmark will be used to service the first day of issue cover at the Philatelic Bureau Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Buhawalpur, Khairpur, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sargodha, Peshawar, Mardan, Sukkur, Murree, Post Mall Gulberg Lahore, Quetta General Post Offices and National Philatelic Bureau Islamabad.
