Responding to a question about the remarks of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif about NAB, he said that he had pointed out some areas which must be addressed to improve performance. Rana Tanveer said the government was focussed on transparency and good governance which were vital to carry out the ongoing development projects.

While responding to a question regarding PPP, the minister categorically stated that Pakistan Peoples Party was not being targeted in Sindh and added, “We all are available for any accountability but there should be improvement in the affairs of the NAB”.

To another query, the minister said that negotiation was in progress with Sri Lanka to sell Pakistani JF-17 Thunder planes but a decision was not reached yet.
