FBR to extend date for filing of income tax returns

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue is likely to grant a nine-day extension for filing of income tax returns.

Customs Today learnt that the FBR was considering to extend the deadline for filing of income tax returns as a good number of taxpayers have not filed their returns so far.

Sources said that the board may announce 30 November as extended date in this regard.

The FBR had already extended the deadline for filing of income tax returns and announced 21 November as the last date for filing of tax returns.
