KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued orders to “blacklist” four factories. All the four factories are involved in submission of less tax returns which are not according to their actual sales.

Additional Commissioner Regional Tax Office-I Tahir Awan told Customs Today that the factories which are blacklisted by the FBR includes Sadia Hosiery, Shamim Knitwear, Shah Jahan Chemicals, and Sher Shah Colours. Sources said that despite issuing several reminders, all these companies had failed to submit their tax returns. After their failure, the RTO-I forward the matter to the FBR headquarters, which decided to declare the factories as “blacklisted”.
