2,100 bags of heroin seized during drug raid in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD: Police say eight people were arrested after officers broke up a heroin ring in Springfield.

Narcotics officers seized more than 2,100 bags of heroin, nearly $4,400 in cash and other items after executing a search warrant at a Lebanon Street residence around 5 p.m here the other day.
