ISLAMABAD: A division bench of Federal Service Tribunal (FST) adjourned hearing of three cases after hearing arguments from counsel of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the appellants.
FST Division Bench comprising of Members, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Syed Muhammad Hamid heard the arguments before deciding to date cases in office. Tribunal’s office now would schedule the further date of hearing in the cases.
The bench was hearing submissions regarding “promotion” and “up-gradation” matters. Appellant Muhammad Moin Ud Din and Abdul Ghaffar had submitted a case regarding their promotion at the department which they said promotions had not been granted to them yet.
Another appellant, Muhammad Zulifqar had filed petition for his scale up-gradation. The appellant had submitted before the tribunal that he should be given BPS-16 at what post he was working in the department. He prayed the tribunal to issue necessary directives in this regard.
