Faisalabad RTO’s zone-II collects Rs 68m in 3 weeks

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Zone-II of the Federal Board of Revenue has collected Rs 68.21 million under the head of sales tax during the first three weeks of February of the current fiscal year.

As per details, it collected Rs 63.26 million, while it has recovered Rs 4.95 million arrears during the period, zone-II Commissioner Muhammad Akram said.

He added that unit-I of the zone has collected Rs 21.20 million, unit-II Rs 23.11 million, unit-III Rs 17.92, while unit-IV has collected Rs 1.03 million.

He further said that Rs 4.95 million, which were recovered in shape of arrears, has been collected by all units of the zone. He added that unit-I collected Rs 840,000, unit-II Rs 1.15 million and the unit-III collected Rs 2.96 during the said period.

Responding to a question, Commissioner Akram hoped that annual target for running fiscal year will be achieved by the end of fiscal year.
