SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Inland Revenue (IR) Intelligence and Investigation has referred as many as 20 cases to Customs Courts of Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Karachi.
Officials told Customs Today these cases were made on tax evasion and providing of wrong information to the department.
The IR Intelligence and Investigation has pleaded the courts to take action against culprits under Section 192 and 192 A of Income Tax Ordinance 2001. The officials said that businessmen, bureaucrats and fashion designer have been nominated in filed cases.
