Sargodha Dry Port to be operational soon: Mohsin Ranjha

LAHORE: The Federal Parliamentary Secretary and the MNA, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, has said that the establishment of Sargodha Dry Port will boost economic activities in the area.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had allocated land for the establishing a new dry port near Mitha Luk railway station.

Talking to a session organized by traders and industrialists, Ranjha said that the dry port would contribute to the development of the city while it would also create employment opportunities for the people.

Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Abdul Razaq Dhiloon said the PM had also been invited to Sargodha, for the ground breaking ceremony of the dry port.

Speaking on the occasion, Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Mukhtar Mirza said that it was longstanding demand of the traders that a dry port should be established to boost economic activities in the area.
