Multan Customs Intelligence impounds vehicle, diesel worth Rs 6m

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized 35,000 liters of high speed diesel worth Rs 2.5 million, besides impounding an oil tanker worth Rs 3.5 million being used for the transportation of the smuggled diesel.

Additional Director Nisar Ahmad, following credible information, formed a special team to curb smuggling. The officials intercepted an oil tanker near Sakhi Sarwar and recovered the Iranian diesel.
