Belarus reduces oil export duties

MINSK: Belarus reduced export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union on 1 March. The relevant decision is contained in Council of Ministers executive order No. 154 of 25 February 2016, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude oil went down from $52 to $39.5 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline made up $28 per tonne as against the previous $36.9 per tonne, commercial gasoline – $24 ($31.7). The export duty on light and medium distillates will be $15.8 ($20.8). The same duty is applied to gas oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils. Exports duties on crude oil and some categories of oil products were previously revised on 1 February. Then they were reduced as well.
