Over 135 companies participating in Pakistan Auto Show

LAHORE: Over 135 international and local companies are participating in the Pakistan Auto Show, being held at Expo Centre from March 4-6.

The Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) is organising the auto show.

PAAPAM Chairman Mumshad Ali, in a statement, said that the exhibition is receiving an overwhelming response from the leading automobile manufacturers from around the world.

Among the most prominent international exhibitors at the event are Toyota, Honda Suzuki, Massey Ferguson Tractors, Land Rover, Fiat tractors, FAW trucks/cars, Yamaha motorcycles, Hino trucks/buses, UD Nissan trucks/buses, and Isuzu trucks. Other major participants include M Ningbo Haishu Guda Import and Exports Company Ltd, Najing Jinniu Mechanical Manufacturing Co Ltd, Universal Business Link FZC, Shenyang Machine Tooling Co Ltd, China and Pakistan Trade and Economic Association, Gold Sun New Energy Science and Technology Co Ltd, Norinco and NRB Bearings along with RK South Asia SDN, BHD.

Mashood Ali Khan, the senior vice chairman of PAAPAM said, “Forty international large-scale buyers representing prestigious companies like Ningbo Xinchang Machinery Co Ltd., Qingdao Zhengyang Chain-Drive Factory, Dongying Monday Rubber Technology Co Ltd., Qingdao HuawuRubebr and Plastic Co Ltd, S C Rulmenti S A, SAMSON Compounds Ltd and SATELO have expressed their interest in attending the Pakistan Auto Show 2016.”

He said that various important visitor groups like TVH (Belgium), Sparex (UK) and Hatat (Turkey) will also attend the show, while more than eighty international guests, representing countries including Czech Republic, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Turkey will also grace the occasion.
