KIEV: According to “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” since the beginning of the year and by February 21, 2016 vegetable oils handling in the country’s sea ports increased by 11% compared to the same period last year and reached 622.07 KMT against 560.46 KMT last year.
During this period vegoil exports increased by 12.4%, transit grew by almost 200% to nearly 20 KMT against 6.76 KMT last year. As a reminder, in 2015 Ukrainian seaports handled about 4 MMT of vegetable oils, while the record high oil handling equaled 4.3 MMT in 2014.
