KABUL: Around 100 Iranian firms are expected to attend an exhibition in Afghanistaninfo-icon, Iran’s commercial attaché in Kabul says.
According to IRNA, Mohammad Reza Karimzadeh told the Trade Promotion Organisation 81 Iranian companies had participated in the exhibition last year.
Afghanistan accounted for 10.62 percent of Iranian exports over the past 10 months. The landlocked nation became Iran’s fifth largest trade partner during the period.
The exhibition will be held in cooperation with the Trade Promotion Organisation (TPO) from March 1 to 4. Commercial contracts worth $100 million may be signed on the sidelines of the event.
