Customs Court hears 17 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has heard 17 different cases and issued necessary orders, besides sending a suspect on judicial remand.

As per details, at least 14 cases, including pre-arrest bail pleas by Muhammad Saiful Rehman, Muhammad Abid and Shahrooz were scheduled for the day, which have been adjourned until the next hearing.

The court also adjourned bail plea of Faheem Babar who is on judicial remand until the next hearing. Different cases from Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.

The Customs Court proceeded on cases of Saleem Malik, Sana Ullah, Manzor Hussain, Mirza Iqbal Baig and Tariq But for their attendance in the court in different allegation and cases.

The court also recorded statements in three different cases of smuggling of narcotics.
