Govt asked to make agreement with regional countries to boost exports

SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Mansoor Ahmed has said the government should make agreement with regional countries, Central Asian States, Far East and African Countries to boost export of country.

He said that Pakistan has good resources and qualities for exports but exports of Pakistan are not satisfactory rather government and exporters should give preference on branding and valuation.

He said in the decimal of 60, which country adopted Pakistan as role model and the export of these countries is much better instead of Pakistan. He said in present situation we should leave traditional procedure for export and take extra ordinary steps for increasing of export. He said we believe export of traditional items, therefore, our export is decreasing day by day.

He said we should adopt new technology to capture importers in abroad through our new export items whereas the exporters should give preference on regional trade to strong economy of Pakistan.
