FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office has collected 139 tax returns from non-filers in the first four days of March and recovered Rs 10.941 millions under tax amnesty scheme.
Sources told Customs Today that these 139 tax filers blong to Jhang, Faisalabad and Toba Tek Singh. Sources said that the RTO Faisalabad received 84 returns worth Rs 8.329 million while Jhang received 26 tax returns worth Rs 1.604 millions. At least Rs 1.008 millions were recovered from 29 tax returns filed from Toba Tek Singh.
Sources said that the RTO Faisalabad formed various teams for collection of taxes from non filers through this scheme to make this scheme successful.
