Sialkot FIA arrest 17 human smugglers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 17 human traffickers, including some proclaimed offenders during different raids.

Reportedly, on the strict directions of FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees, senior Inspector Malik Nasir Majeed started crackdown against human traffickers in Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad along with his team and nabbed human traffickers.

It arrested Tayyab Rasool from Pasrur (Sialkot),Najamul Saqib from Qila Deedar Singh (Gujranwala), Shabbir Ahmed from Jandiala Bagh Wala (Gujranwala), Sajjad Bhatti from Jaharwala (Gujranwala), Rahil from Sialkot, Zafarullah from Chowk Dharam Kot (Gujranwala), Liaqat Ali from Wazirabad, Dr.Sarafraz from Gujranwala, Khalid Majeed from Gujranwala, Asghar Nazir from Nosharan Virkan, Rana Muhammad Hanif from Camp No 3 Gujranwala, Muhammad Safdar from Faisalabad, Muhammad Ali from Daska (Sialkot), Shafique from Sialkot, Manzoor Ahmed from Bhano Pindi Sialkot and Rasool Buksh from Sialkot.

The accused were involved in illegal process of sending people abroad on fake documents and visas by extorting huge amounts from them. The cases were registered against them, while further investigations are underway.
