IHC will hear six tax references on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear six tax references on Monday involving the Custom Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).

A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Noor-Ul-Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah would hear a custom reference filed against Custom Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad.

The reference was filed by M/s United Express. The appellant had challenged the tribunal’s decision through the petition.

Another IHC Division Bench, comprising of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani would take on hearing five income tax references filed against Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).

Four income tax references were filed by Jammu Kashmir Co-operative Housing Society. The bench would also hear a petition filed against member of Custom Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad. This was filed by M/s Amson Vaccines. The appellant had challenged decisions of respective tribunal through their petitions.
