ISLAMABAD: After decline in international market, the local marketing companies have reduced price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs 15 per kilogram.
The prices of domestic cylinder were decreased by Rs 170 and commercial cylinder by Rs 680, said Chairman LPG Distributors Association Muhammad Irfan Khokhar in a statement issued here. He said that the LPG prices are reverse to before 10 years prices.
Giving details, he said that in Karachi, one kg LPG would be sold at Rs 70 kg per kg and the domestic cylinder will be available at Rs 840 domestic. He said that the prices of domestic cylinder in Lahore, Kasour, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Jehlum, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Peshawar, Daska would be on Rs780 and one kg LPG would be sold at 65kg per kg.
He further said in Rahim Yar Khan, Sadqabad, Hyderabad, Attock, Mirpur AJK one kg LPG would be available at Rs 80 and domestic cylinder at Rs 960 domestic.
In Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Abbotabad, Muzafarabad, Bagh, Fata, Kotli, Tando Muhammad Khan, Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Nawabshah, Thata, Dado, Jamshero, Shikarpur LPG would be sold at Rs 85 kg and domsetic cylinder at Rs 1020. In Gilgit Balistan Murree, Nathiagali, Balakot one kg LPG would be available at Rs 100 kg and domestic cylinder at Rs 1200.
Welcoming the decrease in LPG prices, Irfan Khokhar lauded the efforts of Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, saying that the prices decreased due to the good policies of the present government.
